Perception vs reality is a solo exhibition by Hannah Duncan. Duncan combines sculptural works with oil paintings. She decreases and increases the scale of the forms to propose different visual experiences. The physical elements of the installation offer a variety of objects to look at from different viewpoints. The paintings have a relationship to the sculptural works. The viewer may create their own compositions by walking through the space. The viewer has the ability to control their perspective by where they choose to stand in relation to the works.

This exhibition took place on unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh, and Musqueam Nations.
