Fortress

Raw elements of wood, metal, textile, and electricity bind together to create a stronghold. This work is intended to provide the viewer with a tranquil escape from things that they fear. Fortress can ignite memories from childhood fort building, and feelings of nostalgia associated with that process. Creating spaces of our own allows us to feel comfortable in our own unique environment.
